Making gold leaf is a delicate art. It requires gold to be hammered down to about 1/250,000th of an inch! It's so fragile that a simple sneeze could send it flying!

Ready to get golden with your soaps?

  • Gather Your Treasures:

Your vegan, palm oil free Stephenson transparent MP soap base 
Gold leaf sheets 
Skin safe Phthalate free Fragrance oil 
Soap mould 

  • Melt It, Don’t Burn It! Melt your soap base gently in a microwave or double boiler as per manufacturers instructions.
  • Drop in your fragrance. 
  • Gold Leaf Magic Time: Take a piece of gold leaf and crumble it into the melted soap. Don't go overboard - a little glitz goes a long way! Stir it gently. If you're going for a streaky gold design, add it in streaks. If you're aiming for random flecks of gold, crumble and sprinkle away!
  • Pour & Wait: Pour the mixture into the mould. Patience, young pharaoh! Let the soap harden. 
  • Unmould & Marvel: Once firm, pop the soap out of the mould. Voilà! You've now got a soap that Cleopatra herself might be jealous of. 


This soap is now officially too fab to just leave on the soap dish. Flaunt it! Put it on display! Gift it to your friends and watch them "ooh" and "aah" over your artisanal masterpiece! And don't forget: When you use it, you're bathing in gold. How's that for everyday luxury?
