Working from home is isolating. Bring the team together for a creative break over Zoom. This engaging corporate candle making workshop is an opportunity for your staff to feel appreciated, improve relationships, and break down barriers.
Workshop Details:
- Candle making kits will be sent directly to company headquarters for distribution (shipping included). Alternatively, we can ship each kit individually to each participant's home office address.
- By the end of the class, each participant will have made two 33-hour scented soy container candles.
- Choose from our phthalate-free fragrance library of Watermelon, Vanilla bean, Salted caramel, Rose Victorian, Pina colada, Persian lime and lemongrass, coconut lime, Blueberry cheesecake and 1 million Type.
- All Materials and equipment supplied.
- Demonstration and assistance for 90 minutes by your friendly, expert chandler.
The kit includes the following:
- Instructions booklet
- 100% soy wax sufficient for two candles
- 2 x Candle wicks
- 2 x Stickums to secure the wicks
- 2 x 50 ml Premium candle fragrance oils - phthalate free
- 2 x 10ml Liquid candle dye - choose your colours below
- 2 x 180g capacity candle glasses - choose your glass colours
- 2x Round warning labels
- 2 x bamboo stirring stick
- 2 x bamboo candle lids
- 2 x wick centering devices
- 1 x mercury thermometer
- 1 x microwave safe wax pouring jug
What participants will learn:
- The benefits of soy wax over other waxes.
- Wick types and how to correctly select wick sizes.
- How fragrance loads work, and how to accurately scent your candle.
- Safety tips
- Step-by-step instructions and a demonstration
- The science behind the art
- Equipment and materials required.
- How to measure correctly, and how to conduct burn tests.

Safety:
We recommend that participants wear close-toed shoes and no heels for safety.
A long sleeve top is also recommended to ensure skin is protected in case of splashes. Soy wax is water soluble.
What participants will need to provide:

Microwave or stovetop i.e., A kitchen pot is filled with tap water. Participants will suspend the soy wax in the provided jug over the water to melt it.

In purchasing this workshop, you are agreeing to these terms.
Our virtual corporate group classes need a minimum of 10 participants to go ahead ie: $1200 ex GST minimum charge.
Payment:
A 50% deposit is required to book the date for this workshop ie: $600 ex GST. Once the full payment has been received, the kits will be sent.
