Vacola Stainless Steel lids are longer lasting that the Vacola standard tin lids. Ideal for high acid preserves such as pineapple and pickles. When preserving, lids are placed on the bottle on top of the preserving ring and secured with a clip. The lid will appear convex at first when placed on the bottle, however it will change to concave after processing, indicating a vacuum seal has formed.
